Lonnie Hodge has been a professor, manager and trainer for more than thirty years. He holds degrees in Engineering, Communication, Counseling and Fine Arts, and is a peer-reviewed SEO consultant and a Certified Employee Assistance Professional.
He has been a collegiate level professor and corporate trainer for more than 30 years and has instructed virtually every class available in University English, Psychology, Substance Abuse, Internet Marketing, Employee Assistance and Literature. He won one of America's highest award given by the government in Literature: a $20,000 National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship in Literature in 1995/6. Lonnie Hodge has written dozens of articles, books of poetry, plays (produced) and more. He has had more than a decade of cross-cultural teaching, counseling and consulting experience and has spoken to dozens of national and multi-national companies on a wide range of topics. Most recently, he directed training for the British Consulate in Guangzhou as a lead trainer for China's top HR Executive Training Company, ALTEC.
Lonnie has also taught for Health Science Institutes, Universities, Teaching Hospitals, and Foreign Ministries of Health and was the past director of an ESL residency program at Amethyst Hospital. He has taught English for Special Purposes, Literature, Creative Writing, Composition, Technical Writing, Business Writing, Japanese Literature, Cambridge Business English, IELTS preparation and more for the University of Maryland, The University of North Carolina, and currently is a visiting professor at Zhongshan University.
